1. What is e-campaign?
MIRC's e-enablement campaign is an initiative by the MCA ICT Resource Centre to promote the use of ICT among Small Medium Size Enterprises. Realising that SMEs do not realise the full potential of ICT in their businesses, MIRC has decided to initiate this campaign to bring greater awareness of the benefits of ICT in empowering organizations to become more competitive as they survive in a highly competitive environment.

MIRC's e-enablement campaign will focus on two important pillars - education/awareness and technology. The education/awareness pillar involves creating greater ICT awareness among SMEs and educating SMEs on specific technologies relevant to their industries. This will be done through seminars, forums, roadshows, exhibitions, emailers, website and direct mailers. The technology pillar involves technology vendors who will provide relevant software products and services to the SMEs at a much lower cost to ensure that SMEs are able to maximise the use of technologies in their businesses.

2. Why should people get involve?
E-enablement campaign is a means to bridge the SMEs to the relevant technology vendors who are able to provide good and quality service to the SMEs. MIRC will be the key initiator of this campaign with a secretariat to provide ICT information and direct the SMEs to the relevant technology vendors.

3. How this program helps?
For the SMEs, they can be rest assured that they will be directed to credible ICT companies that provide quality products and services. For the technopreneurs, they will be able to find a market within the SME industry. MIRC will create greater awareness of ICT among SMEs and through MIRC's services, SMEs need not look far to get the best technology vendors to service their needs. Similarly, technopreneurs need not look far to get assistance to penetrate the SME market since MIRC will be conducting marketing exercises on their behalf.

4. What benefit will the participants get?
For the SMEs, they will benefit from cheaper products and services with the knowledge that they will be serviced by credible and abled ICT companies.

For the Technopreneurs, they will get their market with a reduced marketing cost.

For SMEs, they can check the e-enablement website for product promotions, events and register their interest through our lead management system. alternatively, they can call the centre.
